The Argo Fire and rescue Service has met the needs of our community since 1988. The department currently operates three fire engines and a brush truck unit from two stations and offers paramedic advanced life support and fire service to the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with two firefighters on duty per shift. Due to the generosity of the community, the department has been able to maintain this level of service. Presently the department continues to have a ISO rating of 4. This low rating is reflected in the premiums that each of us as homeowners pay for the insurance coverage of our homes. This rating has been maintainable due to the dedication and hard work of our firefighters, our local elected officials, and the generosity of the community.
